<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rocker arm assembling method which is applicable regardless of the type of a cylinder head, and by which the attachment and detachment of an assembly jig is easily performed. <P>SOLUTION: Rocker arms 4 are assembled to a cylinder head 1 through: a first step of assembling a plurality of valves 2 to the cylinder head 1; a second step of placing the rocker arms 4 on respective valves 2 one by one; a third step of fitting a fitting part 21 provided on the assembly jig 20 into a plug hole 10 of the cylinder head 1, and pressing the plurality of rocker arms 4 by pressing units 22 provided on the assembly jig 20; a fourth step of attaching a camshaft to the cylinder head 1; and a fifth step of detaching the assembly jig 20 from the cylinder head 1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
