<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a monoclonal antibody acquired using a partial peptide to a trigger factor (TF) as an antigen, and a method for detecting and measuring TF fusion protein with the TF as an affinity tag. <P>SOLUTION: The anti-TF monoclonal antibody recognizes the TF which is a kind of colibacillus-derived chaperone, and a measuring reagent contains the monoclonal antibody. The method is provided for measuring the TF, its fragment, or protein containing the TF or its fragment in molecules using the monoclonal antibody.
