<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color filter produced by an ink jet method and having excellent solvent resistance and weather resistance, and to provide an image display device and electronic equipment having the color filter. <P>SOLUTION: The color filter 1 includes a colored part 12 having such properties that, in a plan view of the color filter, a region in a similar figure to the colored part with a homothetic ratio of 0.90 with respect to the colored part and having the center of gravity at the same point as that of the colored part is defined as an effective region, and that when a plane substantially parallel to a substrate 11 at a distance from the substrate equal to the average thickness of a colored film 121 is defined as a reference plane, the colored part satisfies the relationship of expression (I): 1.1≤T<SB POS="POST">X</SB>/T<SB POS="POST">Y</SB>≤1.7. In the expression, T<SB POS="POST">X</SB>[μm] represents a distance on a boundary line of the effective region from the reference plane to a resin layer surface and T<SB POS="POST">Y</SB>[μm] represents the shortest distance from the reference plane to the resin layer surface in the effective region. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
