<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect a rotation position of a rotor with accuracy independently of an adhesion accuracy of each permanent magnet. <P>SOLUTION: A plurality of permanent magnet pieces 28 are fixed to an outer peripheral surface of each yoke member 19. Each permanent magnet piece 28 is configured by: a thinnest part 32 located at a center part in a circumferential direction; thickest parts 33 located at both end parts in the circumferential direction; and gradual change parts 34 located between the thinnest part 32 and the thickest parts 33 and whose thickness in a radial direction from the thinnest part 32 toward the thickest parts 33 is gradually increased. A boundary position of magnetic poles on an outer peripheral surface of the permanent magnet piece 28 is made to be located at the center part in the circumferential direction of each permanent magnet piece 28. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
