<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealing material that is excellent in water resistance and chemical resistance and has excellent adhesiveness to a hardly-adhesive material. <P>SOLUTION: The sealing material contains polyester having a melting point, measured by differential scanning calorimetry, of at least 150°C.
