<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric power steering device for making compatible both weight reduction and the securement of rigidity. <P>SOLUTION: A gear housing (speed reduction gear box) 30, a lower bracket (lower vehicle body installing bracket) 40, a sensor housing (torque sensor housing) 50, a lower column (outer column) 10 and an upper bracket (upper vehicle body installing bracket) are integrally molded by a glass fiber containing synthetic resin.
