PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology for aligning frequency hopping patterns of a plurality of hosts.

SOLUTION: A communication system comprises: a plurality of first communication devices 10 which control communication using a frequency hopping system; and a second communication device 20 which can communicate with the first communication devices 10. The second communication device 20 retains a connection registered list in which identification information and priority of the first communication device 10 whose connection registration is completed are set; notifies the device 10 of the connection registered list, in performing connection registration processing with the first communication devices 10; and registers the identification information and priority of the device 10 with the connection registered list. The first communication device 10 searches another first communication device 10 within a predetermined range from the own device, after the connection registration processing; sets the same frequency hopping pattern as that of a device, when there is the device whose priority set in the connection registered list is higher than that of the own device among the searched other devices; and sets an arbitrary frequency hopping pattern, when there is not.
