<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a desired composite image to be efficiently output by quickly making a user aware of a misoperation even when the user makes a mistake in specification of a template and an operation for causing a document to be read according to arrangement information predetermined in the template. <P>SOLUTION: According to arrangement information pieces indicated by plural templates whose background images are similar to a background image to be used as a target of composition processing selected by a user and whose arrangement information pieces are mutually different among templates stored in a template storage unit that stores a template composed of a combination of a background image and an arrangement information piece indicating arrangement positions in arranging, on the background image, document images generated by reading a document, document images as arrangement targets generated by an operation of a document reading operation screen by the user are arranged on background images indicated by the respective templates to generate composite images, the plural generated composite images are displayed on a display unit, and selection of a composite image to be output is received from the user. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
