<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a repeating device capable of transmitting image data, separately from the content of FAX, to a printing apparatus via a server, and to provide a printing system and a printing method. <P>SOLUTION: In the printing system 1, an external terminal 2 transmits the portion of an image file in the FAX data to a server 3 in advance. The server 3 stores the portion of an image file thus received. The server 3 returns login information, used by a repeating device 5 for logging in the server 3, to the external terminal 2. The external terminal 2 adds specific information including the login information to the FAX data before transmitting the data to the repeating device 5. The repeating device 5 extracts the login information from the specific information added to the FAX data, and can login to the server 3.
