Provided are a node ranking and selection method, device and system. The ranking method includes: receiving a node ranking request sent by a node selection device, with the node ranking request containing a source address, at least two destination node addresses and a direction parameter; determining path overhead values between the source address and the at least two destination node addresses in the direction indicated by the direction parameter; ranking the at least two destination node addresses according to the path overhead values, and generating a ranking result, with the ranking result containing the optimal destination node address; and feeding back the ranking result to the node selection device, so that a user terminal sends a service request to the optimal destination node address. According to the embodiments of the present invention, destination node addresses can be ranked flexibly according to the routing information in different directions, so that the selection of the optimal node can meet practical application demands.
