<p>In order to obtain an information recording system capable of good cleaning of a head in a structure in which a recording tape is moved between a pair of reels arranged in a case, an information recording system (10) is provided with: a recording tape (T) which is moved in a case by the rotation of a pair of reels (14, 16) arranged in the case (12); a magnetic head (20) which performs either writing or reading of information with respect to the recording tape (T) in the case (12); a tape removal mechanism (26) which is driven between the usage position and the cleaning position of the magnetic head (20); and a cleaning device (22) arranged in the case (12) to clean the head located in the cleaning position. A cleaning tape (30) of the cleaning device (22) is configured to clean the head while moving in the horizontal direction.</p> |
