<p>[Problem] To provide a lighting device that can be bent, and that can be designed using light and darkness. [Solution] A light guide plate (10) introduces light from the sides or ends. The light guide plate (10) has thin regions (10a), and the thickness of the light guide plate (10) in the thin regions (10a) is heterogeneous due to the thin regions (10a) and thick regions (10b). The thin regions (10a) are roughly periodically positioned. Furthermore, the thin regions (10a) are roughly vertically positioned relative to the sides or ends where light is introduced. In addition, the thin regions (10a) have thicknesses of not more than 500 µm. A lighting device (20) uses the light guide plate (10) as a constituent member, and is configured such that the light guide plate is bent. Furthermore, the lighting device (20) has multiple strip-shaped light guide plates (50) that introduce light from the ends, is configured so that the multiple strip-shaped light guide plates (50) are positioned in a plane and serve as constituent members, and the multiple strip-shaped light guide plates positioned in a plane are bent. An LED is used as the light source for introducing light to the light plate.</p> |
