PURPOSE: A system for molding a fiber reinforced composite material and molding method are provided to improve workability by positioning a device for transferring melted materials between an extruder and a shaping unit. CONSTITUTION: A system(100) for molding a fiber reinforced composite material comprises an extruder(110), a shaping unit(130), and a device(140) for transferring melted materials. The extruder comprises a housing(111), an outlet port(115), an inlet port(117), a heater(113), and a screw(114). A resin composition and reinforced fibers are put into a melting space(112) through the inlet port. The heater heats the resin composition. The screw transfers a mixture to the outlet port by kneading the reinforced fibers and the resin composition. The shaping unit forms the fiber reinforced composite material into a predetermined shape by pressing the melted materials. The device for transferring the melted materials is movably placed between the extruder and the shaping unit in order to transfer the melted materials of the fiber reinforced composite material to the shaping unit.
