<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To lower basis weight of wings and to reduce discomfort during wearing in an absorbent article with wings, such as an incontinence pad or a sanitary napkin fixed to a crotch portion of shorts. <P>SOLUTION: The absorbent article comprises: an absorbent body provided with a liquid-permeable surface sheet, a liquid-impermeable back surface sheet and a liquid-retaining absorber interposed between both of the sheets; and a pair of wings extending from both side edge parts of the absorbent body. The surface sheet and the wings are made of separate nonwoven fabrics, the fiber alignment of the surface sheet is in a longitudinal direction, and the fiber alignment of the wings is in a width direction. A plurality of lines of fixing adhesive parts are provided on a back surface side of the absorbent body and a back surface side of each wing, and extending directions of the fixing adhesive parts coincide with the directions of the fiber alignments. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
