<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem in a heater in which a heat generator layer, an electric conductor layer and a glass protection layer for protecting the heat generator and the electric conductor are formed on an insulation substrate in a multilayer configuration by a thick film printing and burning process, the problem involving that a resistance distribution changes from a distribution set at the time of printing due to a thermal stress caused in the heat generator layer, when burning the glass protection layer, which does not result in a heat generation distribution according to a specification. <P>SOLUTION: A heater comprises a first glass protection layer formed over an insulation substrate so as to cover a heat generator layer on the insulation substrate and a second glass protection layer formed so as to be laminated on the first glass protection layer. In the heater, the softening point of the first glass protection layer is lower than that of the second glass protection layer and that of the heat generator layer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
