摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an irradiation unit and an optical detector capable of detecting a position of an object with smaller structures than those of conventional ones, and further to provide an information processing system and the like. <P>SOLUTION: An irradiation unit EU includes a plurality of light emitting elements. Out of the plurality of light emitting elements, a first light emitting element LD1 emits first light source light, a second light emitting elements LD2 emits second light source light and a third light emitting elements LD3 emits third light source light. The irradiation unit EU emits first irradiation light LT1 based on the first light source light and emits second irradiation light LT2 having light intensity smaller than that of the first irradiation light LT1 in a direction different from that of the first irradiation light LT1 based on the second light source light. The irradiation unit EU further emits third irradiation light LT3 having light intensity smaller than that of the second irradiation light LT2 in a direction different from that of the first irradiation light LT1 and different from that of the second irradiation light LT2 based on the third light source light. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
