摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an irradiation unit and an optical detector capable of detecting a position of an object with smaller structures than those of conventional ones, and further to provide a display system, an information processing system and the like. <P>SOLUTION: An irradiation unit includes a first light emitting element LD1 through an n-th light emitting element LDn, where n is an integer not less than 2, disposed along a curve. In a first period, the irradiation unit emits first period irradiation light, of which intensity of irradiation light becomes lower as the first period irradiation light moves from one end of the curve toward other end of the curve. In a second period, the irradiation unit emits second period irradiation light, of which the intensity of the irradiation light becomes higher as the second period irradiation light moves from the one end of the curve toward the other end of the curve. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
