<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heated toilet seat that prevents rupture of a cord-like heating element by minimizing the distortion caused by the thermal expansion/contraction. <P>SOLUTION: The seat includes: a seating part 3 and a toilet seat body 2 arranged below the seating part 3; and the cord-like heating element 4 formed in a meandering shape with an aggregation of 180-degree folded parts located on an inner surface of the seating part 3. The length of a straight part of the cord-like heating element 4 formed in the meandering shape in a region of high linear density of the cord-like heating element 4 attached to a safety device is shorter than that in a region of low linear density. As a result, in a specific portion of the heating element having high linear density and being higher temperature than in other portions, the distortion caused by the thermal expansion/contraction is increased, while the length of the straight part of the cord-like heating element located thereon is shorten to reduce the thermal influence as much as possible.
