DATA TRANSMISSION METHOD AND DEVICE

Disclosed are a data transmission method and device for simplifying data processing. Data transmission comprises the sending and receiving of data. The method for sending data comprises: a data packet from a higher layer is acquired and treated as a service data unit (SDU); the SDU is assigned a serial number, and undergoes segmentation, concatenation, and security operation to obtain a packet data unit (PDU); the PDU is transmitted to the media access (MAC) layer for sending. Also disclosed are a data receiving method and a device that implements the method.
