<p>A compound desalination system (100A) is provided with a waste water treatment system (1) that filters waste water (A) having a lower salt concentration than seawater (D) using a low-pressure reverse osmosis membrane device (16), and a seawater desalination treatment system (3) that filters the seawater (D) using a seawater reverse osmosis membrane device (38). The seawater desalination treatment system (3) includes an intake chamber (32) for storing drawn seawater (D), a pretreatment filtering device (34) for filtration as a preceding step to the seawater reverse osmosis membrane device (38), and a turbine pump (33A) that pressure-feeds the water to be treated from the intake chamber (32) to the pretreatment filter device (34). The turbine pump (33A) is driven by the hydraulic pressure of the non-permeated water discharged from the low-pressure reverse osmosis membrane device (16) of the waste water treatment system (1), and the non-permeated water that has driven the turbine pump (33A) is supplied to the intake chamber (32).</p> |
