TRACER PARTICLE SPRAYING APPARATUS FOR PARTICLE IMAGE VELOCIMETRY IN TOWING TANK

PURPOSE: A device for spraying tracer particles of a particle image velocity meter for a towing tank is provided to spray water and tracer particles being stirred by a stirrer to a towing tank, thereby uniformly mixing the water and the tracer particles. CONSTITUTION: A device for spraying tracer particles of a particle image velocity meter for a towing tank comprises a main tank(100), a stirrer, and a nozzle unit(300). The main tank is installed in a towing carriage(500). The towing carriage is horizontally moved along a towing tank(400). Water and tracer particles are stored in the inside of the main tank. The stirrer is installed in the main tank and stirs the water and the tracer particles being stored in the inside of the main tank. The nozzle unit sprays the tracer particles being stirred with water by the stirrer to the towing tank.
