<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric connector capable of maintaining both of strength of a mold and strength of a housing with a simple shape of the mold without enlarging a longitudinal dimension of the connector. <P>SOLUTION: In a connector 1, an elastic arm part 22 of a terminal 20 extends upward from a base part 23 along a projection wall 12 via a transition part 25, and can be elastically displaced. The projection wall 12 has a plurality of bar walls 12C spaced from each other in a longitudinal direction of a housing 10 and formed to extend upward and downward; and a displacement allowing recess 12A formed to be indented from a position of a side face of the bar wall 12C and allowing elastic displacement of the elastic arm part 22 of the terminal 20 between the adjacent bar walls 12C. A hole part 11A penetrating through a bottom wall 11 at a lower position of the displacement allowing recess 12A is formed on the housing 10, and the displacement allowing recess 12A is communicated with the hole part 11A.
