ORGANIC ELECTROLUMINESCENT ELEMENT AND LUMINAIRE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic electroluminescent element having improved luminous efficiency and driving voltage, and to provide a luminaire.

SOLUTION: In the organic electroluminescent element having a luminous layer, a transparent conductive layer and an electron injection layer, the electron injection layer has a two-layer structure of a first electron injection layer, and a second electron injection layer from the side close to the luminous layer. The bandgap of a metal nitride composing the second electron injection layer is set narrower than the bandgap of a metal nitride composing the first electron injection layer. The luminaire is also provided.
