<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pillar reinforcing structure of an automobile capable of suppressing an excessive opening of a door by enhancing the surface rigidity of a door hinge mounting portion of a pillar reinforcement while reducing weight and cost. <P>SOLUTION: A door hinge bracket 22 is mounted to an outer wall 15e of a pillar outer panel 15. A reinforcing bead 17h including a vertical bead 17i extending in the vertical direction along a vehicle front edge 22a of the door hinge bracket 22 and a lateral bead 17j extending to a vehicle rear side along an upper edge 22b of the door hinge bracket 22 in continuity from an upper end of the vertical bead 17i is formed at an outer wall 17e opposed to the door hinge bracket 22 of the pillar reinforcement 17. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
