The invention relates to medicine. A detachable appliance for transferring the position of a jaw cast in a face bow to the space between the frames of an articulator relative to the opening axis of same is in the form of a variable length lever which can be arranged with one end on a face bow support perpendicularly to the axis of said support and so as to be rotatable about said axis, while the other end has an axis which is perpendicular to the lever and can be aligned with a point on the skin which is a projection of the axis of rotation of the mandibular head, wherein the lever is detachably attached to the face bow support so that the lever can be removed and subsequently attached by one end on the axis of rotation of the lower frame of the articulator such that the lever can rotate and the axis at the other end of the lever can be aligned with the axis of the horizontal hinge of the upper frame of the articulator.
