REDUNDANCY BACKUP METHOD AND SYSTEM IN TRILL NETWORK

<p>Disclosed is a redundancy backup method in a TRILL network. The method includes: configuring the same virtual system ID and virtual Nickname for two or more RBridges; selecting one RBridge therefrom as the primary device and using other RBridges as spare devices; distributing control information and forwarding data by the primary device in the TRILL network according to the configured virtual system ID and virtual Nickname; when it is detected that the primary device has a fault, reselecting one RBridge as the primary device, and distributing control information and forwarding data in the TRILL network by the reselected primary device. Also disclosed is a redundancy backup system in a TRILL network, which can not only ensure the smoothness of the TRILL network but also improve the stability and reliability of the TRILL network.</p>
