799,110. Hydrostatic motors and transmissions. GES DER L. VON ROLL'SCHEN EISENWERKE AKT.-GES. Feb. 18, 1955, No. 5004/55. Class 69 (2). [Also in Group XXVIII] In order to reduce noise in an axial cylinder pump or motor of an hydraulic transmission, in which a driving or driven disc TF is fast on a shaft T and the inclination of the cylinder block is adjustable to vary the stroke, and in which the cylinder block is mounted in a swivelling member Sch, which also encloses the disc TF and adjacent bearings, the outer races of bearings SL for the pivots SZ of the member Sch are connected by a member G to the outer race of a bearing R for the shaft T. As shown in Fig. 2, the member G is mounted in a housing AG by means of silencer blocks Si 2 ; in the embodiment of Fig. 14 a flange F of the member G is directly connected to the housing. Liquid supply and exhaust is effected through the pivots SZ, and to reduce the tendency of the components of the member G to be forced apart by the resulting pressures, ball or roller bearings are used for the bearings SL so that spreading forces acting on the member G are transmitted through the bearings to the pivots SZ. A pump and a motor may be coupled together to form an hydrostatic transmission, the input and output shafts of which may be coaxial or offset. |
