TOP HOLD-DOWN CONVEYOR DEVICE OF HORIZONTAL BAG-MAKING AND PACKAGING MACHINE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a product top hold-down conveyor device in which an upper part of a center seal unit is completely opened and the cleaning and maintenance of the center seal unit can be easily carried out.

SOLUTION: The top hold-down conveyor 6 is moved from an operating position for auxiliarily sending products while holding and pushing the products between the same and a center plate 9 to an evacuating position where the conveyor is slid in the longitudinal direction of a supporting shaft 5 relative to a shaft holder 4 and is retracted in the direction intersecting the auxiliary sending after being sprung up together with a shaft holder 4 and the supporting shaft 5 about a turning shaft 3 by operating a handle 8. The top hold-down conveyor 6 can significantly open the upper side space of the center plate 9 at the evacuating position. Consequently, the cleaning and maintenance of the center seal unit can be easily carried out.
