<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nurse call system which informs requests not only to medical staff such as a nurse or the like but also to non-medical staff such as an attendant or the like. <P>SOLUTION: The nurse call system includes a bedside terminal 1 which is installed on each bed and is operated by a patient to convey various requests to a nurse or family, a nurse call master unit 5 which informs the nurse about requests to the nurse transmitted from the bedside terminal 1, and a cellular phone 4 which informs the family about requests to the family transmitted from the bedside terminal 1. The bedside terminal 1 includes a request storing section 108 for storing a plurality of requests to be informed, a bedside terminal display section 101 for displaying the requests, and an operating section 102 for selecting an item requested by the patient from the displayed plurality of items, and determines whether the selected request is to be informed to the nurse or the family and transmits the request.
