<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus that reduces jaggies occurring at an edge part of an intermediate colored object with a very simple configuration that requires as little judgement as possible, and properly controls the intensity of contour pixels provided for reducing jaggies in accordance with the operation of a user. <P>SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus creates a first half-tone data and a second half-tone data, calculates a logical sum for every bit with the use of the first half-tone data and second half-tone data at an edge part determined by an edge part determination unit, and outputs the logical sum. The edge determination unit thickens the edge part in accordance with a user's setting so as to control the thickness where the logical sum can be output, and thereby controls the density of the edge part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
