A liquid crystal display device comprises first and second substrates, a lower display electrode which is arranged on the first substrate, an insulating layer which is arranged on the lower display electrode, an upper display electrode which is arranged on the insulating layer and has a net-like pattern having multiple openings, a common electrode which is arranged on the second substrate, and a polymer-dispersed liquid crystal layer which is intercalated between the first substrate and the second substrate in such a manner that the common electrode and the upper display electrode can face each other.
