A wind power plant. Used in wind power technology. The essence of the invention: as a drive for the wind power plant (WPP), use is made of a wind rotor which is mounted in front of a WPP mast and the disc of which is impermeable to the wind stream. From the approaching wind stream, arcuate wind rotor blades experience increased pressure on the concave side and reduced pressure on the curved side. The WPP has a specific speed, a high wind use coefficient and increased torque. The wind rotor is designed to be highly rigid and strong owing to the perpendicular arrangement of the blades relative to the disc. In order to simplify the WPP mast and provide the latter with increased rigidity relative to the wind stream, said mast is manufactured in the form of a plane and carries out the role of an orienting device. |
