DEVICE FOR DETECTING CHANGE IN NATURAL AND ARTIFICIAL STRUCTURES

<p>Provided is a device for detecting change in structures, with which a wide range of monitoring can be performed at low cost and detection of change in a structure can be achieved optically without involving switching of electrical circuitry. The device for detecting change in natural and artificial structures of the present invention comprises: a light-source unit for generating light of at least one colour; a first transmission unit for transmitting the light generated by the light-source unit; and a filter unit which controls the characteristics of the light emitted by the first transmission unit in response to the amount of change in a natural or artificial structure. The amount of change in the structure is detected by detecting the characteristics of the light that is transmitted or reflected by the filter unit. The device construction comprises: the light-source unit which creates light by using electricity; the transmission unit which transmits light without using electricity at all; and the filter unit which senses by means of light alone, without using electricity at all.</p>
