PURPOSE: A tablet type sweetener composition having excellent storage property, and a producing method thereof are provided to offer the low calorie of the composition to users by maintaining the similar sweetness with sugar. CONSTITUTION: A tablet type sweetener composition contains 100 parts of rebaudioside-A by weight, and 200-1,000 parts of saccharide by weight selected from xylitol, maltose, maltitol, mannitol, palatinose, erythritol, trehalose, glucose, sorbitol, malto-dextrine, dextrose, lactose, oligosaccharide, or their mixture. The tablet type sweetener composition additionally contains 8-80 parts of saccharide disintegrating agent by weight selected from microcrystalline cellulose, sodium starch glycolate, crospovidone, gelatin, starch, carbomer, carboxymethyl cellulose, copovidon, hydroxypropyl cellulose, polyethylene oxide, povidone, calcium arginate, crosscarmellose, sodium stearyl fumarate, and their mixture.
