It is described an energy handling system (600, 700, 800) comprising an energy storage device (100, 200, 300, 500), which comprises a Phase Change Material (115) for absorbing and temporarily storing thermal energy, which has been provided by an energy source (170, 670), and a heat extraction element (140) for extracting thermal energy from the Phase Change Material (115). The energy handling system (600, 700, 800) further comprises an energy conversion device (180, 580, 582), which is operatively connected to the heat extraction element (140) and which is capable of converting thermal energy into electric energy. |
