<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that it is not easy for a device which tracks a moving object in a monitor space on a monitor image to suitably perform processing for preventing a mistake from being made when a plurality of moving objects approach. <P>SOLUTION: A position prediction part 51 predicts current-time candidate positions of a plurality of objects from past positions. A presence degree calculation part 52 sets a presence degree, indicative of presence probabilities of other objects excluding an object of interest among the plurality of objects, within a distribution range of the candidate positions of the other objects for the object of interest. An object position determination part 53 calculates an evaluation value, corresponding to the degree at which an image feature of the object of interest is extracted from a part of the image at time of interest corresponding to the candidate position of the object of interest, lower according to the presence degree set for the candidate position by contrasting the image at the time of interest with reference information for extracting the image feature of the object, and determines a movement destination position of the object of interest from the evaluation value of the candidate position. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
