<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink set and maintenance liquid which have excellent detergency of ink adhesion matter, and to provide a cleaning method and image forming method using the ink set. <P>SOLUTION: The ink set comprises: an ink composition including a pigment, resin particles and water; and a maintenance liquid including water of 50 to 75 mass% to the whole mass, at least one kind of alkylene glycol monoalkyl ether in which the carbon number of an alkyl group is ≤4 and at least one kind selected from alkylene glycol monoalkyl ether and alkylene glycol monoaryl ether in which the carbon number of an alkyl group is ≥5. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
