<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exterior material serving also as a water drip, capable of eliminating the need of construction of the exterior material at the lower part of a window sash, improving an appearance of the lower part of the window sash, and improving the design of the entire outer wall. <P>SOLUTION: An exterior material 10 serving also as a water drip includes: a first fixing part 11 of a required width abutted to the upper part of a side face part of a sill 3 arranged on a foundation 1 of a building; a second fixing part 12 formed outwards along a lower end edge of the first fixing part 11, and attachable with a base material 17 having a required thickness arranged by being abutted to the sill 3; a projection part 13 provided such that the distal end edge is projected more on the outer side than an exterior material mounted on an outer wall at least toward the outer part along the lower end edge of the second fixing part 12; and a decoration part 14 which is formed downwards along the distal end edge of the projection part 13, has such a length that the distal end edge reaches an upper end face of the foundation 1 at least, and is capable of hiding a side face part of the sill 3 arranged on the foundation 1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
