<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ship bottom coating and a coating additive, in which: the reduction of the adhesion of a marine organism to a bottom of a ship, a marine structure, a fishing net or the like is achieved; the reduction of a fuel that the ship or the like consumes is achieved; the extended period of time of a coating adhesion to the bottom of a ship, an underwater structure, a net for culture, a fishing net, a buoy, industrial water system equipment or the like is obtained; and the ocean pollution is not be caused. <P>SOLUTION: The additive for the antifouling coating and the antifouling coating containing the additive comprise as a principal ingredient, a mixture of a phosphate mineral powder that is a lanthanide material that always emits a negative ion and a silicate mineral powder that emits a super-far-infrared ray of a terahertz wave. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
