<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic resonance imaging apparatus with an optimized filter circuit. <P>SOLUTION: The magnetic resonance imaging apparatus includes: a magnetostatic field generation means which generates a uniform magnetostatic field in a space housing a subject; a gradient magnetic field generation means which generates a gradient magnetic field to be superimposed on the magnetostatic field; a transmission means which generates a high-frequency magnetic field to irradiate the subject; a detection means which detects a nuclear magnetic resonance signal generated from the subject; and an imaging means which images the detected nuclear magnetic resonance signal. The detection means includes a means which has a notch filter for removing harmonic wave of Local signal of the nuclear magnetic resonance signal and/or a preliminarily generated intermediate frequency portion, mixes the nuclear magnetic resonance signal and the intermediate frequency to generate a mixed signal and outputs the mixed signal to the imaging means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
