A climbing lifting mechanism includes a guide holder (100) and a delivery rod. In the self-climbing method of applying the climbing lifting mechanism, firstly, when the lower guide holder (100) has the tendency of moving downwards with respect to the guide rail (400), both of them are remained locked. Then the lifting driving member (200) is protracted, which makes the upper guide holder (100) move upwards with respect to the guide rail (400). Later, when the lower guide holder (100) has the tendency of moving upwards with respect to the guide rail (400), both of them are remained locked. At last, the lifting driving member (200) is extracted, which makes the lower guide holder (100) move upwards with respect to the guide rail (400). By multi-circulation of the above steps, the driving part of the climbing lifting mechanism gradually moves upwards with respect to the guide rail (400), which makes the self-climbing of the climbing lifting mechanism achieved.
