<p>The purpose of the present invention is to provide an occupant protection device capable of appropriately protecting the occupant in a small-overlap collision. A curtain shield airbag body (7) is suspended from a front pillar (11) and a roof panel (13). The curtain shield airbag body (7) comprises: a first chamber (71) and a second chamber (72) which expand in the space among a side window (9), a center pillar (10), and the head (C) of the driver; and a third chamber (73) which expands in the space among the side window (9), the front pillar (11), an instrument panel (12), and the head (C) of the driver. When a small-overlap collision occurs, the expanded third chamber (73) receives reaction force from the instrument panel (12), and thus receives the driver's head (C) which moves toward the front pillar (11).</p> |
