<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to adaptively deal with an implementation form and encoding control algorithm of a memory system in a system to be mounted. <P>SOLUTION: An encoding processing apparatus performing encoding processing on a picture by blocks comprises a plurality of encoding means performing the encoding processing and to which at least one memory for an input and an output of data is connected, and a main control means preliminarily setting up memory mapping on the plurality of encoding means and controlling processing performed by the plurality of encoding means. The plurality of encoding means each includes a block processing means performing block processing and an address creating means selecting one from the memories depending on the memory mapping set up by the main control means and creating an address based on input information from the block processing means to perform read and write of data with respect to the selected memory. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
