<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mail terminal device and a mail client program capable of displaying a message list screen with a sufficient response, even when a large amount of messages are stored in a flash memory. <P>SOLUTION: The mail terminal device includes a non-volatile memory capable of writing, a volatile memory, a processing device, and a display device. The non-volatile memory stores a mail client program that is executed on the processing device to provide a mail function, and mail data in which messages consisting of header information and body information are stored.
