<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To more accurately present estimated power consumption to a user side in executing a print job. <P>SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus is installed with a power supply device. The power supply device includes: a current sensor 100 which detects an AC current that is input to the power supply device; and a CPU 101 which stores a power consumption value for each event in a table for each event from a set of operation items related to the apparatus, activates print information for estimating a power consumption of a print job, calculates the power consumption of the print job based on the actuated print information from a print sequence for each event, and notifies the user side of the result of the calculation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
