PURPOSE: A system and a method for recycling waste steam are provided to reuse the latent heat of steam and to minimize the steam being discharged direct to the atmosphere, thereby contributing to the reduction of a greenhouse gas. CONSTITUTION: A system for recycling waste steam comprises a steam collecting unit(20), a steam compression unit(30), a insulation storing unit(40), a steam distributing unit(50), and a condensate water distribution unit(70). The steam collecting unit collects waste steam being discharged, thereby temporarily storing the waste steam. The steam compression unit receives the waste steam from the steam collecting unit and compresses in order that at least some of the received waste steam can be the condensate water of a temperature higher than the temperature of the steam collecting unit. The insulation storing unit distributes the compressed waste steam to one or more thermal demand parts where the heat energy is necessary. The condensate distribution unit collects the waste steam generated after the distributed waste steam is used by the thermal demand parts and discharges by separating the condensate water being included in the collected waste steam and collect the waste steam in which the condensate water is separated to the steam collecting unit. |
