BARIUM TITANATE POWDER, PROCESS FOR PRODUCING THE SAME, DIELECTRIC CERAMIC, AND LAMINATED CERAMIC CAPACITOR

PURPOSE: A manufacturing method of barium titanate based powder is provided to smooth surfaces and enhance density of dielectric ceramic layers in a laminated ceramic condenser. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of barium titanate based powder comprises the following steps: preparing small material powder of distribution which becomes raw materials of barium titanate based powder; dispersing the small material powder into a dispersing medium; precipitating the small material powder in the dispersing medium; and extracting only the small material powder located at the predetermined sedimentation distance from the dispersing medium. The average particle diameter, D1, of the barium titanate based powder is 10-200 nano meters. If the maximum grain size is D2 and the minimum diameter is D3, 1.0<D2/D1=2.0, and 0.5=D3/D1<1.0. The barium titanate based powder is used in the dielectric ceramic layer(2) of the laminated ceramic condenser(1).
