<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To extract photographic images with the same photographing direction from an unspecified number of images stored and having information of photographing directions, and make a slide show of the extracted new and old images. <P>SOLUTION: An image display device acquires a photographing position and a photographing direction stored in each of image files to create a list thereof (step S201), classifies the image files using the created list by the same photographing position (step S203), and extracts an image group belonging to a same photographing position from image file groups classified by the same photographing position (step S204). The image display device also classifies image files of the image group by the same photographing direction (step S208), thereby sorting out only image files having the same photographing position and the same photographing direction from an unspecified number of image files stored in a RAM.
