摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress deposition of atoms on an area irradiated with light even when temperature control of a cell is not performed. <P>SOLUTION: A magnetic field measurement apparatus includes: a cell which when the cell is excited by light, seals atoms for rotating a polarization plane of linearly polarized light in accordance with a magnetic field in its inside and transmits the linearly polarized light applied to the atoms; and a measurement part for measuring a rotational angle of the polarization plane of the linearly polarized light transmitted through the cell. The cell has a first member including a first area through which the linearly polarized light is transmitted out of a wall surface facing the inside of the cell and a second member including a second area whose thermal resistance up to the external is lower than that of the first area out of the wall surface facing the inside. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
