<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect communication with an incorrect communication unit in a communication system where a processing unit indicated by the identification information transmitted from a mater unit to a slave unit, out of a plurality of processing units in the slave unit, is selected as the communication partner of the master unit. <P>SOLUTION: In a microcomputer 10, one of processing units 11-13 is selected as a communication implementation processing unit which communicates with an IC 30 over a communication line 20. The ID of a processing unit determined as the communication partner of the communication implementation processing unit is transmitted from the microcomputer 10 to the IC 30. In the IC 30, the processing unit indicated by the ID thus received, out of processing units 31-33, is selected as the communication partner of the microcomputer 10 by a multiplexer 42. A collation code unique to the processing unit selected by the multiplexer 42 is transmitted from the IC 30 to the microcomputer 10. In the microcomputer 10, a collating unit 27 determines whether or not the collation code from the IC 30 is identical to the collation code of the communication partner of the communication implementation processing unit. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
